Foie Gras Campaign
Farm
Sanctuary's No Foie Gras Campaign works to end the horrendous animal
abuse involved in foie gras production by raising awareness among consumers
and restaurateurs about the cruel practices employed to produce this "delicacy."
The campaign encourages consumers to boycott foie gras and asks restaurant
owners and chefs to sign a pledge not to serve foie gras. Often, consumers
and restaurant operators are unaware of how foie gras is produced. Once
informed of the cruelty of the industry, many choose not to support the
inhumane practice.
In
communities across the country, Farm Sanctuary provides campaign materials
and support to activists, empowering them to ask their local restaurants
to stop serving veal, distribute leaflets to consumers, write to local
newspapers to educate their communities. For more information about the
No Foie Gras Campaign and how you can help, please visit nofoiegras.org.
