No Veal Campaign

Sanctuary's No Veal Campaign strives to stop the cruelty of veal
production by educating consumers and restaurateurs about the inhumane
manner in which veal calves are raised. The campaign encourages consumers
to boycott veal and invites restaurant owners and chefs to sign a pledge
not to serve veal. Often, consumers and restaurant operators are unaware
of how veal is produced. Once informed of the cruelty of the industry,
many choose not to support the inhumane practices of veal production.
In communities across the country, Farm Sanctuary provides campaign materials and support to activists, empowering them to ask their local restaurants to stop serving veal, distribute leaflets to consumers, write to local newspapers to educate their communities.
