Farm Sanctuary's Compassionate Communities Campaign
If you care about farmed animals, one of the most effective things you can do to help them is by educating people in your community about the reasons for and ways to move towards a vegan diet. Every person who goes vegan or vegetarian will spare over fifty animals a year from a lifetime of daily misery. By persuading others to eat with compassion, you will save the lives of hundreds or thousands of farm animals every year!
The Compassionate Communities Campaign is Farm Sanctuary's activism and advocacy arm, helping Farm Sanctuary members and other animal advocates in cities and towns across North America educate the public about farm animal issues and veg eating. You'll find CCC volunteers passing out vegetarian leaflets on college campuses, distributing vegetarian starter kits at local businesses, and sharing video of farm animal cruelty online. In order to make it easier for people to go and stay veg, the Compassionate Communities Campaign also helps create local social groups (such as meet-ups and potlucks) and works to distribute local guides to veg-friendly restaurants.
Please sign up to today to join the Compassionate Communities Campaign. You'll get one-on-one support, training, directions and resources to help make your community more compassionate by spreading the veg message. You'll also be connected with other Farm Sanctuary supporters in cities across North America who, like you, aren't just upset about how farm animals are treated - they're doing something about it! Save hundreds of farm animals from a lifetime of misery - volunteer with the Compassionate Communities Campaign today!
