Warmth and gratitude on National Intern Day

Today is National Intern Day. Farm Sanctuary wants to extend a very special thanks to our team of interns who help make this organization what it is. Our interns facilitate administrative operations, assist and form compassionate relationships with our animal residents, and render service to our visitors at our locations. They also help drive our mission of promoting animal rights, an ethical food system, veganism, and social justice.

For many of Farm Sanctuary’s interns, this will be the first stop in a long, illustrious career. They will learn to exist within this unique microcosm and take those lessons with them on their journey through life. However, this introductory role is a catalyst for a more extended experience within our organization for many others. Farm Sanctuary has employed multiple people who started in college or as volunteers who endeavor to help us make the world a better place.

To all of our interns and volunteers, thank you for your smiles, enthusiasm, passion and fire, knowledge, friendliness with our supporters, loving care of our animal residents, and commitment to our mission.

We can’t do it without you and honor you all 100%. Happy Intern Day!
