Tiny Houses and Lux Cabin in the Winter
Farm Sanctuary’s Tiny Houses and Lux Cabin at our Watkins Glen, New York Sanctuary are open to our members from May to December.
Cozy up with a book and a cup of cocoa, watch the snow fall, and take in the gorgeous winter Sanctuary views (including the pigs romping in their snowy pastures!). A complimentary breakfast & guided sanctuary tour is included every morning of your stay.

Know Before You Go
A member is anyone who has contributed at least $25 to Farm Sanctuary in the previous year. If you are not a member but wish to stay in our accommodations, you can become a member with a donation of $25 or more at the time of reservation. If you are unsure of your membership status, you can email [email protected].
If you make a reservation and are not yet a member, you will be charged a membership fee of $25. In addition to access to our accommodations, a Farm Sanctuary membership keeps you in the loop. Members receive a subscription to our magazine and special alerts about farm animal legislation. They’re the first to know about urgent rescues, important petitions, opportunities to speak out for farm animals, and more. Membership contributions are critical to supporting all the work Farm Sanctuary does on behalf of farm animals.
Early reservations are always recommended. Reservations are required and payable in advance by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
We accept reservations for the current season only. It is not possible to reserve for future years until the new seasons open.

Because of our unique location and the limited number of accommodations, we must adhere to set policies with regard to cancellations. Reservations must be paid in full.
If a cancellation occurs, the following refund policy will be strictly followed:
- If a cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to the start of the reservation, 75% of the booking fee will be refunded.
- If a cancellation occurs 14 days or more prior to the start of the reservation, 25% of the booking fee will be refunded.
- Changing reservation dates is subject to the terms of the cancellation policy
Reservations are non-transferable. - Any non-refundable payment will be used as a general donation to support Farm Sanctuary’s rescue, education, and advocacy efforts. This gift will be tax-deductible.
There will be no cancellations due to winter weather (please note if you are making a Winter reservation).
Please note: Transferring between rooms or from Cabins to Tiny Houses (or vice versa) is considered a cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation policy above.
A security deposit of $100 will be pre-authorized 1 day before arrival and released 48 hours after departure if no additional fees are incurred for damages or cleaning.
Guests may be responsible for paying any and all reasonable expenses that Farm Sanctuary may incur secondary to damage that has been caused by Guests’ intentional, reckless, or negligent actions. Upon the discovery of such damage, Guests will be notified, and Farm Sanctuary reserves the right to charge a fee taken from the security deposit to cover the damage. This includes but is not limited to, guests assuming financial responsibility for any cleaning necessary to remove odor and/or repair subsequent damage secondary to smoking. Except in designated areas, smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited on Farm Sanctuary’s property.
Farm Sanctuary reserves the right to charge guests for the cost of repairing damage to its property caused by the deliberate or negligent act of guests of the Cabins and Tiny Houses at our Watkins Glen, New York shelter. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, Farm Sanctuary reserves the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card provided at the time of booking or to send an invoice for the amount of damages. Every attempt will be made to minimize the extent of those charges, and the guest will be notified immediately of the issue. Any significant damage that results in the closure of one or more Cabins or Tiny Houses for a period of time may also include a fee comparable to lost income.
