At our New York sanctuary, Wilfred is thriving and living life the way he wants to. He doesn’t like the company of humans much, so we give him the space he deserves. But this introverted goose is devoted to his best friend, Kennedy goose, and the tight-knit duo likes to have a side of their barn all to themselves (and a few ducks) for peaceful days and cozy snuggles. Wilfred is outspoken if we get too close to his beloved Kennedy—well, pretty much whenever we even look at her.

Wilfred Fizzlebang came to Farm Sanctuary because of a promise kept. When his former guardian passed away, his son called us to ensure that Wilfred and their other animals—chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, and two goats—would always be cared for.
