Transportation is an overlooked but deeply troubling aspect of industrial agriculture. Each year, billions of animals are transported under harrowing conditions that fail to meet even minimal standards of care.

Like factory farming, aquaculture confines animals in unnatural and unhealthy conditions and harms our environment in the process.

Following two years of lobbying by Farm Sanctuary and other aligned organizations, the new Senate Farm Bill framework includes key provisions from Senator Cory Booker’s Farm System Reform Act and the Industrial Agriculture Accountability Act.

We can’t all start a sanctuary and save thousands of animals, but each one of us can be an animal activist who makes a meaningful impact!
