Nestled in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York, the rolling green pastures of Farm Sanctuary’s 275-acre New York Sanctuary are home to more than 400 rescued farm animals.
Our 39-acre Southern California Sanctuary — home to approximately 100 rescued farm animals — is located on a beautiful hacienda ranch in Acton, just 45 minutes from Hollywood.
We’re honored to be participating in The Vegan Women Summit (VWS) in Los Angeles, on Friday, April 8th! Powering the future of women changemakers, VWS is the premier event for world’s leading plant-based and vegan food tech businesses.
As part of this event, we’re hosting a VIP Sanctuary Experience at our Acton Sanctuary on Saturday, April 9th, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Hosted by Farm Sanctuary CEO Megan Watkins, Board Chair Nirva Kapasi Patel, and Board Member Emily Deschanel, the sanctuary experience will allow attendees to continue the great conversations and deepen the relationships made at VWS, and connect with our rescued residents. Many of these animals have made global headlines, like June B. Free and Susan, who made an epic escape from a local slaughterhouse last year and now call Farm Sanctuary home.
Welcome remarks from Farm Sanctuary leadership and Dr. A. Breeze Harper.
Refreshments provided by San & Wolves Bakeshop & Good Vibes Society for Vegan Street Fair.
All are welcome to attend, even those who do not attend VWS the day before.
To purchase your ticket for the Farm Sanctuary experience on April 9th, select the option as an “add-on” from the VWS ticket purchase.
