Love for All: Adopt a Rescued Farm Animal This Valentine’s Day!

Sanctuary is the promise of everlasting love. Skip the flowers and send someone special (including you) the heartfelt gift of a symbolic farm animal adoption this Valentine’s Day!

Animal agriculture is a lonely place despite the thousands of animals suffering alongside each other on many farms. Each individual is denied their family and a place that feels like home.

For many animals we save, Farm Sanctuary is the first place they’ve known kindness. Here, they can finally live and love on their terms

This Valentine’s Day, remember that your love rescues! Your simple action today will make a difference in the lives of animals who have endured so much heartbreak.

By giving a one-time gift now, you help us keep the lifelong promise of sanctuary to rescued animals like Jenny, Samson, Jeanne, Margaretta, Freddy, and Cali.

All supporters will receive a digital adoption certificate featuring your new animal valentine(s)! Print it as a gift to yourself or pass it along to show loved ones how much you care.

Meet our lovable and “adoptable” rescued residents this Valentine’s Day!

The Soulmates: Freddy & Cali

Rescued goats Freddy and Cali at Farm Sanctuary

Freddy was so lonely that he kept escaping his former home, so his guardian brought him to an animal shelter, hoping he would find happiness. We welcomed Freddy to his forever family in our herd, but someone special was missing in his life. Then, one day, Cali came along. Sweet Cali was completely heartbroken after her only companion passed away, so her family asked us for help. When these two lone goats locked eyes at Farm Sanctuary, it was clear that their love was meant to be!

The Besties: Samson, Jeanne, & Margaretta

Samson, Jeanne, and Margaretta would have been born into suffering, but they’ve known sanctuary from the start because their moms were saved just in time. Over 200 animals were found severely neglected on a North Carolina farm. Among the survivors were Frannie and Evie, two of 10 sheep who came to Farm Sanctuary—and they were pregnant! Soon, Frannie gave birth to playful Samson, and Evie’s snuggly twins, Jeanne and Margaretta, were born. For these three little besties, it was friendship at first sight!

Single & Lovin' It: Jenny

Rescued pig Jenny in snow at Farm Sanctuary

Jenny was found in a crate on the roadside in brutal heat, abandoned and hurt. Cars flew past, but sometimes, it takes just one kind heart to save a life. A driver stopped and brought the helpless pig to a friend’s house, but as Jenny grew, her needs did, too. So, her rescuers turned to us for Jenny’s forever home. Today, she’s a confident and content pig who’s become a herd leader; she even pushes her way through the crowd at snack time. Jenny has a snuggly best friend named Bitsy and a herd to call family but she enjoys the single life. Who likes dating, anyway?
